The IECEx System aims to facilitate international trade in equipment and services for use in explosive atmospheres, while upholding the necessary safety standards. Upon a successful application, KLCS will meticulously review the design documentation and request sample configurations for assessment and testing. Subsequently, an audit of the manufacturer’s process will be conducted, and a Quality Assurance Report (QAR) will be issued. The IECEx ExCB Certificate and Scope can be viewed and downloaded for reference. Additionally, ExTRs can be utilized to support certification for any IECEx member body for the issuance of an IECEx Certificate of Conformity (CofC).
